One-on-One Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions using trauma-informed approaches like EMDR and parts work to support issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and addiction.

EMDR Intensives Therapy

Short-term, focused EMDR sessions designed to help you process trauma or stuck patterns efficiently and deeply over a few weeks.

Psychiatric Consults

Comprehensive assessments and medication reviews with in-house psychiatrists, supporting long-term mental health alongside therapy.

Supervision for Psychologists

Structured, reflective supervision for provisional, registered, and trauma-focused clinicians seeking professional growth and support.

One-on-One Individual Therapy

Depending on present concerns and client goals, weekly or biweekly sessions are planned. An attachment and trauma informed approach along with parts work and EMDR, are used to help client meet their mental health and relational goals.

Fees & Rebate

  • Fees: Session fees are charged to align with the Australian Psychological Society fee schedule. As such, the cost of a 50-minute session is $318 including GST.

  • Medicare Rebates: Under the Medicare Better Access initiative, a rebate of $145.25
    is available for sessions with clinical psychologists for a total of 10 sessions per year. Please contact your GP or psychiatrist for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to access Medicare rebates.

  • Private Health Insurance: Some extras policies may provide a partial rebate. Please check with your provider.

  • Extended Medicare rebates: You may be eligible for additional Medicare rebates based on your health spending and safety net. Please refer to this link for more details here.

EMDR Intensives Therapy

Our EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Intensive sessions are designed for individuals who prefer a focused, time-efficient alternative to weekly therapy.

Intensives allow for extended EMDR work in a safe and structured  environment, supported by experienced clinicians. This approach may suit those working through trauma, PTSD, or complex life experiences and seeking significant progress over a shorter period of time.

Common issues we address include:

  • Specific trauma memories and related PTSD symptoms
  • Targeted goals such as working through feared future situations, working on identity in the wake of trauma, etc.

Fees & Rebate

  • Intensives packages are planned for 2 – 3 hours per day x twice per week x 3 to 4 weeks

  • Fees: Range from $3600 – $7200

  • Medicare Rebates: Better access rebates of $145.25 apply to daily rates, subsidizing the overall investment. Please contact your GP or psychiatrist for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to access Medicare rebates.

  • Private Health Insurance: Some extras policies may provide a partial rebate. Please check with your provider.

Psychiatric Consults

Our in-house psychiatrists work collaboratively with psychologists and clients to provide comprehensive assessments and treatment planning.

Whether you’re exploring a diagnosis, reviewing medication options, or seeking a second opinion, our psychiatric team offers evidence-based care with a focus on long-term wellbeing.

Areas of support include:

  • Anxiety and mood disorders
  • Trauma-related diagnoses
  • Medication review and management
  • ADHD assessments

Fees & Rebate

A GP referral is required for a psychiatry consult.

  • Fees are as follows:
    • Assessment and Management Plan (Medicare item 291): $770
    • One follow up consult in a 12 -month period (Medicare item 293): $480
    • ADHD assessments are charged at $2000.
  • Rebates: Medicare Benefits schedule for item 291 is $455.60, for item 293 is
    $284.80.
  • Private Health Insurance: Some extras policies may provide a partial rebate. Please
    check with your provider.
  • Extended Medicare rebates: You may be eligible for additional Medicare rebates based on your health spending and safety net. Please refer to this link for more details here.

Supervision for Psychologists

Dr Hargun offers clinical supervision to provisional and fully registered psychologists.

Supervision sessions are structured, reflective, and grounded in ethical best practice.

Available for:

  • Provisional psychologists completing their internship
  • Clinical Psychology Registrars (Endorsement pathway)
  • Clinicians working with trauma or complex clients
  • Clinical psychologists seeking supervision for their professional development

Fees

  • Supervision sessions are charged at $280.
  • If you are working full time in charity or not for profit roles, or supporting clients with lower income, please contact us about the possibility of reduced rates.
